Welcome to Tratta! This guide walks you through our onboarding process so you know exactly what to expect, what we need from you, and how we'll get you to go-live as smoothly as possible.
Your Onboarding at a Glance
Our onboarding typically takes 4-12 weeks depending on the complexity of your setup. Some steps run in parallel (meaning we work on multiple things at the same time), while others have dependencies that require a specific order.
The single biggest factor in your timeline is how quickly we receive materials from your team. The faster you can provide the items listed below, the faster we get you live.
What We Need From You
Here's a consolidated list of everything we'll need during onboarding. Your Tratta onboarding manager will guide you through each item, but having these ready early will speed things up significantly.
Week 1 Priority Items
- [ ] Sample data file — A sample of your account/consumer data in your current export format (CSV, fixed-width, etc.). This helps us build your import file mapping.
- [ ] Business documents — Articles of incorporation, business license, W-9, voided check or bank letter for ACH, government-issued ID for authorized signer.
- [ ] Authorization letter — A signed letter authorizing Tratta to process payments on your behalf.
- [ ] Brand assets — Your company logo (high-res PNG or SVG), brand colors (hex codes), and any required legal language for client-facing communications.
- [ ] SFTP credentials or preferences — If you have an existing SFTP server, provide connection details. If not, we'll set one up for you.
Within First 2 Weeks
- [ ] Letter/notice templates — Any existing letter templates you use for consumer communications, or approval of Tratta's standard templates.
- [ ] Disclosure language — Required disclosure text for your state/federal compliance needs, or confirmation that Tratta's standard disclosures meet your requirements.
- [ ] Legal/compliance policies — Your compliance team's requirements for communication frequency, time-of-day restrictions, opt-out handling, etc.
- [ ] IVR script approval — Review and approve the interactive voice response call flow and scripts.
